SCHOOL POLICY
Non-negotiable policies are school wide policies that have been created by school administration these rules define our school and expectation for all our students.
Any non-negotiable school policy that is broken results in a phone call to parents filling in a referral form or other disciplinary actions. Three offenses will require a meeting with the school Administrations.
SCHOOL RULES
Asian World School expects its students to be well disciplined, confident, cultured, and smart individuals who can interact/converse well.
Following norms of the school are expected to be followed by its students:-
- Students are required to carry the Daily tiffin, a hanky & water bottle every day to avoid any kind of inconvenience.
- Parents are requested to inform the school office if there is any change in their address/telephone numbers.
- Students must be punctual. Late comers will not be entertained.
- Proper discipline should be maintained throughout and while changing rooms.
- Students are expected not to mishandle/damage electronic items and other school property or they will pay a heavy fine over and above the cost of the item.
- Students are expected to maintain decorum in corridors & staircases. They should walk in line. Running or pushing other students is strictly prohibited.
- Boys will show courtesy to girls at all times.
- The students should show due respect, by standing up (together), to a visiting faculty or an elderly person who may come to teach or address them.
- Boys (other than Sikhs) must get a decent haircut at regular intervals.
- Wearing mehandi, tattoos, piercings (other than earrings for girls), fancy haircuts, Caps, and makeup is strictly prohibited.
- Students are not allowed to carry any prohibited articles like mobile phones, cameras, Pendrive CDs/Floppy, etc on the premises. If found carrying any of the above mentioned articles they will be confiscated.
- School will not be responsible for the things that are lost or misplaced. Students should avoid bringing any ornament or valuable articles to school.
- The school can expel the students with unsatisfactory performance in studies, whose conduct is a bad percept for others, or those who do not abide by the school rules.
- Anti-school activity of any sort by any parent or student whether in private or public may invite the expulsion of the student from the school.
- Students may come to school on bicycle on their own but are barred from coming to school on their self-driven automobiles or two-wheelers.
- It is mandatory to converse in English on the school campus and as well as going out to appear in any competitions/functions/examinations in other schools.
- Attendance on the opening day is essential.
- Class-1 to 7 students must bring books according to the time table. No Extra Books or stationery should be brought to school. Please ensure that the school bag of your ward is not heavy.
- If the student is absent or on leave. It is the duty of the parents to collect the information about the course & syllabus or any notice taken place during the absence of the student.
- The teachers and students are not allowed to entertain visitors during school hours.
- Teachers will not be available on the phone (Barring exceptional cases)
- In case of disputes the decision of the Principal will be final and binding on concerned parties and pupils.
